Vortex High Thrust Jet is precise and excellent in saving compressed air by forming sonic air of high thrust, by drawing surrounding air and compressing it by as much as 25 times, using the Coanda effect (the tendency of a fluid to become attached to the surface of a curved body).

An adjustable in-line jet is good to transfer grains because it is not frequently moved. It is recommended to use 3/4 the”(19mm) pipe as the inline pipe. Vortex High Thrust Jet enables the user to complete heavy blow-off jobs and heavy air conveying jobs without overloading the compressor or shortening the life of the compressor.

 

 

 

Operating Principle

Vortex High Thrust Jets release a small amount of compressed air through an annular orifice, using Coanda effect (the tendency of fluid to become attached to the surface of a curved body). The highspeed air creates a sonic velocity tube of air.

The high-speed tube of sonic velocity air creates a low-pressure area or vacuum area at the rear of the jet body and entrains surrounding air into the sonic velocity air stream providing a high thrust air stream of air to provide high-pressure blow-off. The flow rate of the high-pressure injection can be adjusted appropriately using Adjustable Knob.

The ratio of air flow is 25:1.

The outlet and inlet can be ducted for remote positioning. Flow reverses if one end becomes blocked.
The blow-off force from High Thrust Jet at 6”, 12”, and 18” from the target varies depending on the input air pressure.

Dead-End Pressure less than 30PSI if the outlet was blocked. It meets OSHA requirements.
