DON established in 1980 to produce & sell those special vacuum coating materials for optical field and hard coating sol to harden the plastic surfaces.

Especially, in 1992, DON developed evaporation vacuum coating materials ourselves based on our own R&D technology so it became a cornerstone in the development of optical industry who used to rely on imported AR coating consumables.

DON set up a R&D center, received approval from Korean government, to supply for various kind of products with high quality and reasonable price and manufactured high purity mixtures, SV-series, super hydrophobic materials, and hard coating sol, VH series, with excellent compatibility and has been tried to meet optical field's needs.

Under the circumstances, the faith of the development of optical industry is DON's satisfaction, DON obtained ISO 9001:2000 in 2001 and ISO 14001:2004 in2005 to build a stable production system and founded Shanghai factory in China in 2000 to advance towards being huge Chinese & overseas markets and registered own brand, VACO, for raising the recognition and secured competitiveness to supply the reliable quality products by producing the raw materials of the vacuum coating materials ourselves.
