The Vertical Abrasion Simulator can test the abrasion of fretting between vertical fuel rod tube and spacer grid assembly under the condition of high temperature and pressure at the inside of a nuclear reactor. Also, this machine can control contact condition between the fuel rod tube and spacer grid assembly.
The circumstance of the abrasion test of fretting is in the air of normal temperature or underwater of normal temperature or high temperature and pressure, especially, the abrasion test of fretting under the water of high temperature and pressure is designed with stability of the test machine’s every part with over 500 hours of test
The High Temperature Fretting Simulator is a test facility which is for the positive test about the tube abrasion of a steam generator. Basically, this equipment is composed of the environmental chamber, reciprocating motion generator, cyclic impact loading device, high temperature & high pressure water circulation system, and control & monitoring system, etc.
Corrosion fatigue test system is a material test system under high temperature, high pressure, and hydrogen water chemistry environment. The environmental range is from 350℃, 17MPa to 700℃, 30MPa which also covered a nuclear power plant and thermoelectric power plant condition.
