Integrated Bridge System (IBS)

Integrated Bridge System (IBS) is a combination of interconnected systems to centralise access to the sensor information or command/control from workstations.
It aims to increase safety and efficiency for the management of ship.
The IBS is integrated on a console at bridge with the primary functions of standalone navigational aids and communication instruments.
It enables the officers on navigational watch to perform their duty without impairing proper lookout.
The IBS has been taking its shape through rapid development of navigation and communication systems in relation with the bridge configuration, the bridge workstation, and the one manned bridge operation system.
