INTERMATEABLE WITH SOURIAU CONNECTORS AND ALL
38999-STYLE SERIES II ITT Cannon KJ series 38999-Style Series II connectors offer high-density contact arrangements in a light-weight and low profile miniature circular connector. ITT Cannon KJ series connectors have a quick-mating three-point bayonet coupling, are environmentally-sealed and operate across a wide temperature range.
ITT Cannon KJ series Mil-Spec connectors were originally designed for military vehicles and are now industry standard aerospace and military connectors, ideal for demanding harsh enviornemnts. ITT Cannon’s KJ series is intermateable with Souriau connectors and all 38999-Style connectors.
38999-Style part number prefixes include: MS27472, MS27473, MS27474, MS27484, MS27497, MS27499, MS27500, MS27508, and MS27513.
Features
High Reliability 38999-Series II - KJ style connectors are used in performance aircraft that demand reliable connections in some of the most rigorous environments. The connectors must perform flawlessly under wide temperature ranges, high vibrations, and be resistant to a vast array of contaminants.
Low-Profile Connector Design KJs require a fraction of the space needed to mate than most of the other high performance connectors.
Light Weight Today’s aircraft designs require connectors that are very light weight. Saving weight on connector systems allows the aircraft to carry more fuel, maximizing its range or payload carrying capacity.
Operates At Extreme Temperatures For standard applications, KJs come with crimp-style military contacts designed to resist bending and provide reliable performance under the most rigorous conditions.
High Density Connectors KJ connectors offer up to 128 contacts per connector. Ideally suited for the demands of today’s digital electronics that are used on aircraft, advanced robotics, and critical industrial equipment.
Quick-Mating Coupling Systems Three-point bayonet coupling nuts provide fast, one-third-of-a-turn connector mating. Mating is easily verified with an audible and tactile “click” and a bayonet pin sighting hole located in the coupling nut.
Broad Range Of Military and Commercial Accessories Many military standard endbells to MIL-C-85049 specifications and a wide array of cable termination style are available. Straight, 45 and 90 degree endbells come in many styles from standard clamp to shielded environmentally-sealed and everything in between.
Contact Retention Clips KJs utilize all metal contact retention tines which assure the highest level of serviceability and unparalleled contact retention.
KJs are fully intermatable and intermountable with all other 38999-Style Series II connectors.
