OVERVIEW

• The oil is heated and evaporated, and then sprayed at high speed through a nozzle. Here, the colliding air particles are pulled down and discharged through an back-up pump.
• These types of pumps are widely used to obtain high vacuums as they are generally simple in structure and easy to use.
• Like other high vacuum pumps, it must be used with back-up pump.
