SUNG LIM ENERGY was established on August 16, 2000, as Sunglim Engineering Ltd. and on January 19, 2007, established a subsidiary, Mirae Energy Solutions Ltd. to transition from a company specializing in mechanical equipment construction for domestic cogeneration power plants to an energy saving company (ESCO).

As a starting point, we proposed an ESCO project that can utilize about 250,000 tons of incineration waste heat per year from Myeongji Incinerator operated by Busan City (Busan Environment Corporation) and signed an agreement on January 11, 2007, and since January 2008, we have been supplying incineration heat to 12 companies in Noksan.Signal Industrial Complex, contributing to the economic revitalization of the Busan region by increasing financial revenue for Busan City and reducing energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions for industrial companies.

In order to supply stable steam to tenants of the Noksan.Signal.Hwajeon Industrial Complex, Sunglim Energy started construction of a renewable energy cogeneration power plant in January 2016 and completed it in December 2017. As a result, SUNG LIM ENERGY supplies approximately 300,000 tons of additional steam per year to industrial companies to enhance cost competitiveness and reduce carbon emissions by replacing the use of fossil fuels (LNG) to meet the government's low-carbon green growth policy.
