Philosophy

SINJIN Diamond, a small company that catches up with the light. In 1977 ,SINJIN Diamond became the first company in Korea to localize natural diamond cutting tools, and in the 80s, the company became a leading manufacturer of natural diamond tools for ultra-precision processing, producing Posalux tools used for processing precious metals and standardized tools for contact lenses.

In the late 90s, we developed and began selling natural diamond cutting tools for laser reflectors, magnetic disk substrates, polygon mirrors for laser printers, and lens molds for optical components.

Brand management

In the 2000s, we introduced grinding and polishing equipment for ultra-precise natural diamond shape processing, and developed Controlled Waviness diamond tools that produce high-precision shapes and surface finishes by accurately transferring tool movements to relatively easy-to-cut materials such as aluminum alloys and oxygen-free copper.

The development of Controlled Waviness diamond tools was made possible by building the most advanced form of dedicated abrasive units that can control vibration, which is the cause of line defects during grinding, and control the amount of abrasion down to tens of nanometers, which allows us to continue to develop new types of tools.

Future Plan

SINJIN Diamond will continue to develop and sell PCD tools according to the constraints of materials that are difficult to create slopes or curved surfaces for the use of light or rays in the optical field, and the needs of new ultra-precision machining methods, so that the technologies that fuse and combine the fields of single crystal diamond tools and PCD / PCBN tools required for ultra-precision machining will take root and expand into a global company.
