UMI 1075 Themal and Acoustic InsulationDowmarine - UMI1075 Marine Insulation is a light weight, water repellent, glass wool hull board, for use as a thermal and acoustical insulation in marine applications. The product is produced by a flame attenuation process incorporating a flame retardant, thermoset binder system.

Description
Marine Thermal and Acoustic InsulationIncombustible Hullboard from Trelleborg Applied Technology is a lightweight, semi-rigid board insulation made from felted glass fibres in a nominal density of 2.9 pf (46.5 kg/m3). MTI 1046 Hullboard is characterised by a low organic content.     
 

Characteristics

Dowmarine - UMI1075 Marine Insulation products are manufactured with a patented controlled fibre diameter and density to insure consistent thermal and acoustic performance.
Maximum performance temperature for un-faced products are 232ºC (450ºF)

High Thermal Performance  With a low “k” factor of  0.23 Btu•in/(hr•ft2•°F) at 75°F mean temperature (0.033 W/m•°C at 24°C), MTI 1046 Hullboard is highly effective in reducing heat transfer. Operating Temperature Limit : 450°F (232°C)
