Petrobank established in Feb, 2009 under the name of “Houghtonics Marine”, had changed its name to OPS “Offshore Petrochemicals&Services” since Feb, 2012 to provide more active and better services and became one of the largest Lubricants and Chemical supplier within Korea’s Offshore Market. In 2014, company had founded its own warehouse which is the only warehouse in Geoje Island licensed to stock Dangerous Goods. Also company had changed its name to “Petrobank” to provide more varieties in products and better services to its customers. Petrobank’s office and warehouse is located in Geoje Island where Korea’s largest Ship building industry (DSME/ SHI) are placed and are supplying almost every kind of lubricants, chemicals and fuel oils to its industry. Since the change of company name company had been expanding its business to supply of gases and other miscellaneous products which are required within the industry. Company’s had set its goal to become future-oriented by providing EAL products and introducing unharmful rust removers to ship building industry. Company had also expanded its target to Chinese ship building markets since 2010.
