2. The kind of activated carbon
   • Constructed carbon : Although it is expensive, it has a high adsorption rate and is used for the treatment of gas at high consentration
   • Granular active carbon : Because it has a sufficiently large surface area and easily recover the adsorbed material with a small pressure drop on the fixing surface, is the most widly used
   • Powdered active carbon : The price is cheap but the quality is lower than that of granular active carbon and the pressure drop is too large when used in the packed tower, so there are many limitations in use
3. Installation, operation and maintenance costs are low but it is efficient for operating only at low concentrations of pollutants
