This is a tower-top amplifier for WCDMA service that amplifies power in connection with node-B or optical repeaters.
Used in coverage edge areas that require coverage extension such as outskirts and mountain-climbing paths.
Compensates the insufficient power of the host station when directly connected (booster function).
Can increase sectors while minimizing the loss of the host station when connected by a coupling (line repeater function).
