Human Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. was established in March 2008 to build aluminum special ships (medium-sized bulletproof special motorboat, coastal rescue boat, fire boat, customs monitoring boat, harbor marking boat, hospital boat, fishery inspection boat, yacht, fishing boat, etc.) and on/offshore structures (floating bridge, block, deckhouse, mast, funnel, etc.) and submarine components (rudder, penetration tube, pressure hatch, watertight soundproof door, etc.). In particular, we pride ourselves on being a company that holds the largest number of domestic and foreign classification welding technology certifications (WPS) among small and medium-sized companies in the welding of special dissimilar metals. Centered on the Corporate Research Institute established in May 2014, it is dedicated to the R&D and construction of aluminum-based ships, eco-friendly electric ships, hybrid ships, hydrogen fuel cell powered ships, and autonomous unmanned ships, including their design, production, and commissioning. We produced a 500㎥ LNG fuel tank made of high manganese steel for coastal bunkering ships and successfully delivered it to POSCO in March 2021. We are also investing heavily in the R&D of cryogenic tanks, such as the development of an open-rack LNG vaporizer (December 2021) and the development of a double cryogenic 40-ft container type LNG fuel tank made of high manganese steel (February 2022).
