Our technological expertise is recognized in the construction of a wide range of ships, including medium-sized product/chemical tankers, container carriers, liquefied gas carriers, car carriers, Ro-Pax, asphalt carriers, molten sulphur carriers, and juice carriers.

Additionally, we are striving to secure competitiveness through the development of various vessels powered by eco-friendly fuels such as LNG, LPG, methanol, and ammonia as well as the advancement of technologies such as electrification, automation, and intelligence in preparation for the climate crisis.

As part of the efforts toward business diversification and technology export in 1996, HMD expanded into Vietnam and established HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding(HVS). After commencing its business in the area of ship repair, HVS switch into shipbuilding in 2009 and has been garnering global attention with its remarkable growth.
