Principles of PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) Heater

Ba(Pb)TiO3 is mainly used for PTC element which has semiconductor characteristics at roon temperature.
When power is applied to PTC element, it generates heat. When the temperature of PTC element reaches at PTC-specific
curie temperature(Tc), its resistance rapidly increases and limits the current.It does not generate heat anymore when it reached at curie temperature and consequently holds the PTC heater at the curie temperature.
