- Product Characteristics: The roll is heated by the means of induction coil which is operated at high frequency and provided, for example, at a support element. The heating is effected directly at the press or work nip or in the proximity thereof without substantial loss of energy and without the use of a thermo-sensitive hydraulic medium.

Through this process, the surface temperature can be increased to 300 degrees Celsius in 30 minutes to 1 hour and the distribution variation of the surface temperature can be reduced to ±1°C.
