General Description
The CA-IF4220NF is a low-power RS-422 full-duplex transceiver powered from 3V to 5.5V, capable of operating at a transmission rate of 20Mbps. This chip receiver has a 1/8 unit load, supports up to 256 bus nodes, and has a fault protection function that ensures that the output pin is high when the two input pins are open, shorted, or idle.
When the chip is not powered on, the output pin of the driver is in a high-impedance state, and it has a short-circuit current limiting protection function and a thermal shutdown function, which can effectively prevent excessive power consumption caused by bus contention or bus failure.
The chip ESD protection capability of this series: ±15kV HBM. The CAIF4220NF has an operating temperature range of –40°C to 125°C in a natural-air environment.
