Description

General Description

This CAN transceiver family complies with the ISO1189-2 (2016) high-speed CAN (Controller Area Network) physical layer standard. All devices are designed for CAN FD networks with data rates up to 5Mbps (megabits per second). The device supports a bus fault protection voltage of ±58 V and has a polarity control port POL that can control the polarity of the bus. The CA-IF4420 includes level logic translation of the VIO supply, allowing the direct connection of transceiver IOs to 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, or 5V logic IOs. In addition, the device includes many protection features to increase the stability of the CAN device.

CA-IF4420 has high bus fault protection voltage and common mode voltage range, and has high ESD protection characteristics, and has excellent performance in the scene of harsh electromagnetic environment.

CA-IF4420 includes protection features such as under-voltage protection, TXD dominant time-out protection, and thermal shutdown protection to provide system reliability.

The CA-IF4420 has a SOIC8 package and can operate over an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
