NAD4000-D Series (YANUS) hybrid type Needle metal detector was developed to use both electromagnetic and magnetic detecting mechanisms at the same time so that we are now able to take advantage of the benefits from different detecting mechanism for each. Our specially developed and designed shield type magnetic metal detector is strong enough to detect conventionally hard-to-detect long injection needles and mesh wires at any position inside food and overcame complex product effects such as excessive water, salinity and hot temperature to result in stable detecting performance. This is possible by adopting three of unique different axis coils embedded around this unique shield type magnetic detecting head. Ultimately the possibility of mixing any type of metal contaminant has been eliminated. This includes non-ferrous metals which cannot be detected by the magnetic-type metal detector. Employing a secondary electromagnetic type standard metal detector on the front is how this feature is achieved.
