Silencers are disigned to attenuate the exhaust noise caused by contro of pneumatic lies. In general, silencers are mounted on the exhaust ports of solenoid valve, directional contro valves and like, to reduce exhaust noise when direction is changed. This contributes to overall noise reduction in plants.
