UPP6500D is used by the industrial painter to clean his spray equipment consisting of a pressure pot, fluid hose and spray guns.

• Model, UPP6500E, is a UPP6500D with 2 E-series pails for connection to a Uni-ram solvent recycler.
• Model UPP6800D is a UPP6500D with a tank that is taller by 3″ to clean pressure pots up to 16″ h and 13″ in diameter.

How the system works

Spray out and drain excess paint from the pressure pot.

• Disconnect air and fluid hoses from the spray gun and pot. Place the spray gun and pot in the cleaning tank. Activate the cleaning cycle of automatic wash, air rinse and clean rinse.
• Connect the fluid hose to the provided ports on the UPP6500D. Activate the cleaning cycle of automatic wash, air rinse and clean rinse.
• Use of quick disconnects on the fluid hose saves time in cleaning.
  
  

For tough jobs

Sometimes spray equipment has a buildup of months of over-spray. For these cases, we recommend several automatic cleanings in a row to loosen the buildup of paint which can then be removed with the Flow-through brush.

To keep the solvent clean

We recommend the use of a solvent recycler to provide ongoing clean recycled solvent to better wash heavy paint solids from the spray equipment.

Features

• Top loading. Cleans 1 spray gun and 1 pressure pot in the first cleaning cycle and the fluid hose in a second cycle.

• Washing is activated by a wash timer and powered by a 2″ long lasting dual diaphragm pump. Air rinse and clean rinse with 100 CC of clean solvent are activated by push buttons.
• The flow of solvent through the brush is activated by a foot pedal and powered by a 2″ dual diaphragm pump. Flow is adjustable.
• Customers provide the height and diameter of the pressure pot. Uni-ram custom makes the spray tree with rotating jets to fit the pressure pot in the cleaning tank.
• Pump halts immediately, if the lid is raised during cleaning, to prevent exposure to solvent, providing a safe operation.
• Wash tank and cabinet are constructed from 304 stainless steel for long life and easy cleaning.
• Stainless steel mesh filter keeps solvent cleaner and debris from reaching the diaphragm pump.
• Plastic Cone prevents solvent from entering air passage way. Cone also provides positive air flow through air passage way to keep solvent entering at the cap.
• Fume extraction automatically removes solvent fumes from the work area when the lid is raised for a healthier work environment.
• Closing the drain valve located under the cleaning tank prevents solvent spill when refilling the wash pail.
• Comes with one solvent wash pail inside cabinet, trigger clamps and SOPs.

Operation

To Clean Pressure Pot and Spray Gun

• Place the pressure pot on the rotating jets and place the spray gun on the mounting adapter in the cleaning tank and turn the automatic timer. Two 4-inch diaphragm pumps drive cleaning solvent up through 1) the mounting adapters to flush the paint channel of the spray gun and 2) through the spray jets to wash the pressure pot and outside of the gun. Solvent drains back into the customer supplied pail, for reuse, a green approach.
• Press the air rinse button to flush the wash solvent and then press the clean rinse button to send 100 CC of clean solvent through the jets to rinse the spray gun and pressure pot. The guns and pressure pot are cleaned in 1 minute.

To clean fluid hoses

Connect the fluid hose to the fittings on the unit. Rotate the ball valve so that the output of the diaphragm pump flows through the fluid hose. Rotate the timer to flush the hose. Press the air rinse button to flush the wash solvent and then press the clean rinse button to send 100 CC of clean solvent through the hose.
