SIMCO's SPLM type permanent lifting magnet is a compact, self-contained, permanent lifting magnet which maintains its holding power indefinitely.
Within the steel housing are powerful magnets whose field is controlled by the "on-off" position of the safety handle. Because no electric power is required, SPLM magnet can operate completely free of the restriction of power cords, and can be used where electric power is not readity available.  
 

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION

Permanent lifting magnets require good surface condition to achieve maximum lifting. Ground or machined surface are ideal, but a good clean surface on a forging or casting is acceptable provided sufficient flat area is available for good magnet contact with the work piece.
The SPLM magnet is ideally for in-plant handling, loading and unloading machine tools, and is
commonly found in industrial plants, machine shops and warehouse.
