CO2 is adsorbed much more than nitrogen. By utilizing this characteristic, the adsorbed CO2 is desorbed by a vacuum pump for recovery of high-purity CO2.
1. CO2 can be obtained economically.
The cost is approximately 1/2 to 1/3 of purchase cost of liquid CO2 on a tank truck basis.
2. CO2 concentrated over 99% can be obtained continuously.
3. Low operation cost
The operation cost is lower than that of the conventional chemical adsorption process which consumes a great amount of steam.
4. Product CO2 can be obtained immediately after start-up.
